Agreed, some of the aggression (stealing home, sending runners from second on shallow hits to right when the right fielder has a cannon arm, etc) seems over the top, but I'll take the trade-off to get passion, energy, and aggressive play vs. the coma that Gary Henderson always seemed to be in.

I wasn't too upset with the decision to send Pompey. That took a perfect throw to get him, and they got it. However, the decision to send Squires was just not as good. Squires is not as fast and he was out by a mile, and that was with a pretty poor throw. I understand the aggression because you want to put that pressure on the defense with 2 outs and make them make that play and it is the bottom 2 hitters in the lineup that are up, but I think after the executed the first time you have to put the brakes on there.
