Of all the 351 D1 schools, only 1- Oregon ranks top-25 in all 5 major men’s/women’s catergories Football, Baseball, Basketball, women’s Basketball, and softball. Only 4 UK, Michigan, tennesse and Texas check 4 of the 5 boxes.

There’s several schools that have 2-3 sports teams in the top 25.
Then there’s the one truck pony schools. Penn state, mich. st, wake, Pitt and of course louisville.
I haven’t always been on board with Mitch at times. But when you look at these rankings, I think it’s safe to say he’s doing a good job. Also, I don’t think we’ve had any major sanctions since he’s been running the show.
If we could get the Baseball team going we could be with Oregon as the only program with 5/5.
We’ve also added a Volleyball NC. But I was just doing main sports
There’s really no reason behind this post, just thought it was cool that we’re ranked in almost every sport. I think I added them all up right.

Thanks OP. It’s very impressive to see what our overall program has become from top to bottom. This week, here are the following sports currently ranked:

Women’s Swimming - 12th
Men’s Basketball - 10th
Volleyball - 5th
Men’s Soccer - 4th
Rifle - 10th
Women’s Basketball - 13th
Men’s Football - 15th

That’s impressive.

I do want to note that while there are 351 Division 1 schools, only 130 of them offer FBS football. And less than 130 offer all 5 of those sports (probably about 115). Colorado, as an example, doesn’t have baseball or softball.

Did I see that UL is not preseason ranked in basketball? And, not preseason ranked in football this year (unless UL is Louisiana). I think think they are ranked in swimming, baseball and volleyball (met their volleyball coach - really nice guy).
