Randle - another Cat with a monster game

Yep. He was a steal for the Lakers at 7. Too bad theyre still a few years away from being competitive again.

He appears to be something of a throw back player. Loves contact, loved to muddy it up. I predict that he turns out to be the third best player from that draft class behind Wiggins and Parker (I know, not much of a limb to go out on, but still).

I think randle could turn into a real force. He flat out isn't scared. I've never seen a guy prefer contact until randle lol.

if he can motor on the defensive boards like he does the offensive boards he'd be the best rebounder on the west coast. he is an offensive beast facing up and kills the offensive glass. that effort on defense would make him a complete beast. jmho.

It sucked in '14 because for most of the season he was the only player who really played well all season. The rest of the team had yet to put it altogether. So every time he would get the ball, he was triple teamed. It got really frustrating. I knew once he got to the NBA and they didn't triple team and every possession, he was going to flourish.

People just don't realize how good Randle actually is. I was arguing this the other day on here. Some of our fans don't believe he's a star.

I think he is Cals most dominant player at UK. He will be an all star the kid is a monster.

To this day I still think something was wrong with him at the final four. I don't know if it was just nerves or he was injured but he wasn't himself for sure.

They said he was suffering from bad cramps in the pregame layup line prior to the UConn game, in case you missed that (or think it was something else). I suppose it could've been his foot.

If he can develop a consistent 15-18 ft jump shot could be an all star in a couple of years.

I agree if he wanted it bad enough he would bulldog his way to the hoop. I would argue Cousins was pretty dominant. He was a force He is arguably top three big men in the league . Just imagine if he could have stayed on the floor longer in college and pros. If he could dial it back just a little on his fouls nobody could come

He's much more aggressive than Wiggins. That may, over time, boost him up to #2.

Hope that Parker's knee heals, but for the time being, he, along with Embiid, are not playing.

So, thus far this season, he looks like the best player from that draft.

Kanter averaging 12 and 10 in 20 minutes. Give him starters' minutes and he'll put up 20/15. Sucks that he was stuck on a team with so many Fs and Cs in Utah and now he's stuck with Steven Adams in OKC getting more playing time. Kanter is better than Adams.

Offensively. On defense Kanter doesn't have a clue, and that is why Adams plays. If he took an interest in trying to be an average defender then he would get 35 minutes a night.

Randle is a beast there's not denying that. His one drawback is that will sometimes get tunnel vision and drive to the basket. If he can develop more court awareness, then he could be unstoppable. Perennial all-star level player.

He really needs to work on finishing better around the rim. Get full extension on his shot instead of shooting so far below the rim. And about 1000 jumpers a day in the gym. if he does that, he will be near impossible to guard.

No need. I watched him own his position like no player has under Calipari. Name another UK player in the Cal era who was hounded and triple teamed in the way Randle was.

Not even AD.

I think he's been the most intense, underrated, and dominant player under Calipari while at UK. I've seen nothing that would lead me to believe he won't be a star.

I would put him behind Davis and Cousins. He is a Beast though love Randle.

i don't understand why he doesn't get starter minutes. Adams suck... Kanter is getting major rebound, and that alone should allow him to start. All he needs to do is rebound misses from Westbrook/KD and get it back to them.

Why did OKC pay Kanter close to 9 figures to have him come off the bench?
