Since their visit to Kroger Field in 2016, I have followed the New Mexico State Aggies, a tad.

They had Doug Martin, former UK QB under Jerry Claiborne, in 2016, and he took them to the Arizona Bowl in 2017, and won their first bowl game appearance since 1960.

Jerry Kill is their new head coach, and they pitched a 6-6, with two wins over FCS schools. The NCAA granted an exception to allow them to go bowling.

In their last road game, NMS were 24 point underdogs, but beat Liberty at Liberty 49-14. Apparently Liberty was bumbed to be losing Coach Freeze.

They play Bowling Green, who interestingly, lost an 8 overtime game to FCS EKU early in the season.

Another Aggie fact: Coach Hal Mumme coached them for four losing seasons, a few years back.

I live for betting bowl games like this. Let’s throw some Christmas cash up in the air and see where it lands baby.

Just put $25 on NMS! To double my money.
25 for a win of 24. I know I know I broke the bank….. but I trust neither one.

Cheap shot of the year on the BG QB, rivals the Miss St hit on Levis(a no-call by SEC stripes BT).

Isn't the BG HC an ex-U6 asst?

Man I’m getting old

I originally read this as Lane Bryant Bowl

I immediately did a reread

NMS wins 24-19.

Although the Aggies are one of the least accomplished programs in the FBS, they are on top of one category: they are undefeated in the bowl games, at 4-0-1.
