Hey there, fellow members of BBN. I'm needing some help planning for the big game on Saturday.
As a former season ticket holder, I have been to my share of games at Commonwealth. However, I haven't been to one since the new CWS opened and I'm not sure any of us have seen one of this caliber before. So, I figured some of you all could help me out. I am coming from Hazard (about a two hour drive) and would like to have an hour or so to get something to eat beforehand, so I would like to know how early I should leave the house.
Also, I usually always came in on Nicholasville Road and managed to find a decent parking spot near the stadium at a local business or someone's house. We'd get there about two hours 'til kickoff, that way we could get in and watch the teams warm up, get comfortable in our seats, etc. Would this still be a good route to go in on or would you all advise something different?
I guess in all, I would just like to get to Lexington, grab some good food, get parked, then be in our seats an hour or two before kick-off. Any and all help is appreciated. Looking forward to a great game and Go Cats!!!
