Questions about parking

I've been to many football games but I have always ridden with friends and usually been on my way to a nice "buzz." My brother and I are coming to the opening game and I will be driving. If we do not have a parking pass, where is the best place to look to park? Is it fairly easy to find parking outside of the lots?
