Question on point spreads and gambling

BBN: I read posts on here where many in BBN bet the games. If one of you could explain how all this works, I would appreciate it. Just curious, have no intention of betting any games.
Lets take UK-Gonzaga
This is what I rad today:
UK... o165.5 (-105) Spread...+6.5. total...o166.5 (-115). ML +220
Gonzaga... -6.5 -115. 6.5 (-110). u166.5. (-105). -275

What the hell odes all this mean?

Spread means if you took Cats and the 6.5 Zags would have to win by 7. That 165.5 is the teams combined score, and it would take 166 points if you was to bet the total points. The Zags 275 is just picking them to win 🏆. So let me help you out for today's gambling

If you wanna make money you play the best possible outcome. Today's is OREGON-3.5 and Zags winning in thier back yard. Take OREGON-3.5 and Gonzaga to win on the moneyline. Then if we win we are still top 7 and have a nice seed brewing in the tournament.

The (-110) is the payout. Essentially, you bet $110 to win $100 + the original $110 back. That same 110 to 100 ratio is used regardless of if you bet $10 or $7000. You’ll also see underdog lines of positive number payout such as +105. That means for every $100 bet you’d win $105

UK +4 means we are being given 4 points I.e. we are a 4 point underdog so even if we lose the game by 3, that means we covered the spread and you still won the bet

There is actually a way to play and turn a profit without donating it all. Most people won't put in the homework to make the money return to thier favor.
