Egad. Whoever scheduled that Tennessee-Syracuse game…… wooof. Was just looking at future games....a grand total of 6 SEC teams have played this event. Louisville is in it once again. Doesn't make sense to me. Georgia DC starts his Oregon gig off next year...incredible.

If we stay on our progression level, l don't see any need to any longer fret U6. Nobody's saying play in one every year, but to do it would be a nice change of pace and would give us some great attention to kick off the season, especially a win over a quality team.Win the SEC East first, then I will have no problem playing in one. With Oklahoma and Texas coming into the league, we are probably looking at 9 SEC games. That will make it even MORE difficult to rationalize one of these game for UK. Drop the Cards and I'd be for it.
Also schedules are set years in advance.
Been my desire too. How the eff does U6, TN, Ga Tech, etc get those games and not UK?I would just like UK/Stoops to get some notice at the start of the season and play in a Kickoff/ChickFilA game.
I am sure our fan base would love a game at Mercedes to start the year.
Has our schedule been solidified yet for this year?
Yeah that sort of kills it. Bama gets those as their end of year rival is Auburn and SEC game. The SEC teams stuck in these non conference rival games sort of hamstring things for season opener kickoff games. As long as we play UL every year, it’s not going to happen. I hate that our annual rival is out of conference. It kills us when it comes to being creative with the schedule. Some schools will schedule 2 Power 5 OOC games, but UK never will imo.

The UL GT game probably worse. They'll be lucky to have half the stadium filled.Egad. Whoever scheduled that Tennessee-Syracuse game…… wooof.
