What is the typical recovery time for a concussion? I'd guess they're a lot more cautious nowadays with that.

It varies from pro to college to pre-college. Obviously everyone's most cautious with minors. In general once a kid has no symptoms they undergo a graded return to activity that can take several days. If we had a game on Wednesday, it might be in the cards.
A game tomorrow=0 chance.
