No way Nebraska can beat them. Those Purdue guards are just too much improved from last year. Not sure there’s a guard group in the country who can handle those guys!!

This happened on the college basketball Reddit page a few years ago. There was an incredibly long streak of people at the ESPN BPI or Kenpom win predictions and saying things like "Why does unranked Iowa St. have a 65% change of beating top 5 Houston?" Without fail the ranked team would lose. If you bet $25 on the unranked team and just kept rolling over the winnings to the next bet your grandkids could probably afford to retire already.
Purdue is good for a 20 point swing in the 2nd half. Poor Nebraska. They are in for a heartbreak.
Edey is so unathletic. He’s been terrible down the stretch. Nebraska is victimizing him.

I feel like we have more to throw at Edey than most teams. He’s very unathletic. Like last year, Purdue is very susceptible to athleticism and shooting. Nebraska put the book out on them, but most Big 10 teams will rock fight them and lose. I would be incredibly disappointed if we played Purdue and lost. They would drop 6-7 games if they were in the SEC.
I watched the last 10 mins and Nebraska ran them ragged, dominated. Clearly were the better team. Purdon’t is a total fraud in my mind.
Cool, thanks for the in depth answer. I looked on KenPom and Florida is 37 and Nebraska is 53rd. So we handled our business against a better team on the road and Purdue got drilled. But I feel good about us matching up with them with your comment. I've not seen them live.
I will say, Nebraska was really fired up for this game and they looked better than their Kenpom ranking would suggest. At 13-3 now after beating the #1 they should definitely be ranked, as long as they don’t shit the bed against their next opponent. If we were the team playing them at their place tonight, I do not think we’d have come out of there with a win either. Would not have gotten run out of the building like Purdon’t, but Nebraska was impressive.
