So good to see him hitting those FT's. Looks like the young man has been putting in some work.

We are starting to evolve into a really dangerous team.
Lots of weapons ---poise and---defense.
February basketball awaits us now so we better maintain our progression. Every team is getting hungry now. We must win reg season SEC just because that's how it is by golly.

I'm not knocking anyone, but to suggest that he's making free throws because he's been practicing is foolish. Do you think he wasn't practicing enough as he struggled earlier in the season? If he starts missing them again for a short stretch, is it because of a lack of practice? Not likely.

The young man appears to have finally settled down. He's slowed the game down and it's becoming easier for him. Same thing happens eventually to all Cal freshmen. I can't wait to see the results flourish down the stretch run.

I agree. He seemed very relaxed at the FT line. - He was more in a rhythm. And he sure was looking for those jump shots! Go Cats!!

I agree.... his form looked much better at the f/t line. I think someone has been working with him. Just because he and Tyler started a new breakfast club recently does not make him a better player. I am glad to see the improvement. Now some one needs to help Skal learn how to rebound.

Yes he was knocking down the free throws for sure, he has been practicing:basketball:
It seems like he has adjusted his right arm a little and shooting w more arc resulting in a 'softer' shot. Whatever it is I like the results. Briscoe being a threat from 15-18' AND hitting his FTs completely changes our team.

I cat believe how he had gone from a guy who couldnt hit the backboard to a deadly midrange shooter in the blink of an eye.

I hope he continues his new found shooting stoke and that he will also continue to take shots within the offense. The way he played last night makes us very difficult to defend.
