predicting the Final four

Hard to pick a Final Four because someone always comes out of nowhere.

Here it goes, though:

UK- homer pick. Final Four experience, best starting 5 in the country, IMHO.
Michigan St.- Final Four experience. I think Valentine and Harris will be a dangerous wing combo.
Iowa St.- return most of their stars, a new coach can sometimes rally a team (Michigan '89, UK '98, Illinois '05).
Zona- this could be the year Miller finally gets there with no Kaminsky and Dekker in his way.

But I have better luck picking the 1 seeds. They are more predictable, one game won't determine that:

UK(South)
UNC(East)
Maryland(Midwest)
KU(West)

I figured UK, Michigan State and Zona. I'm having a tough time with my fourth FF participant but I'll go with UNC, although I do like your Iowa State pick. They have a really good PG and Ngiang (sp)? They have a veteran group. I do think that Michigan State is a top 10 team. I believe the media is selling them short. There's probably 10 - 12 teams that could win it all this year. Pretty wide open.
