Poythress is a bench/role player nothing else, Willis should be the starter once he returns, offers so much more on a consistent basis.
They were double teaming him on the catch on the offensive end... and on the defensive end he played well when he wasn't being whistled for completely laughable foul calls.

He's inconsistent because he doesn't have the ability to be consistent.
I find it funny people think it's his effort. He is very limited, and if there's player who can match up against his strength, he doesn't know what to do.

I can't remember a player with his size and skill being so ineffective for so many games. It's weird.
So it's the referre's fault that he's been a no-show over 50% of the time for his entire career?

Do you know what a "double team" is? He briefly was double teamed a couple of times but to use that as the excuse for his 1st half disappearance is laughable. And his fouls were fouls.

Look it's not bashing Alex when it's a well known fact he dominates one game and disappears the next. He didn't play awful he just didn't give us what he's capable of. We need at least 10 points from him this half because Vandy is going to show us what a real double team looks like on Murray this half.
He's so used to being the better athlete that he gets caught watching the ball instead of using his ability to go after the ball on rebounds. he also does the same thing when defending, he gets caught up between the play of the game and being aggressive.
