Could not have asked for anything more from Dominique Hawkins. He was clutch. He made plays he normally isn't even asked to make.

If you told me that Murray would play so poorly, that Skal would be the non-factor that he's been and that Isaiah Briscoe would not play then I'd have said you were crazy if you suggested that Kentucky would play like they did.

Murray really did play very poorly. When he had the ball in his hands Kentucky was a lot worse than when Ulis had it. Not even close. The two players had games that were light night and day. Ulis had 21 points, eight assists, one turnover in virtually the entire game. Murray shot 3-14 and had seven turnovers.

How about Alex Poythress? Monstrous game from the UK senior. He made some moves that you rarely see from him. I thought Poythress (especially) and Lee played strong with the basketball around the rim, which was one of my keys.

Kentucky lost the boards by 10, Louisville had 21 offensive rebounds (UK had just 10), Louisville was +14 in the paint. One key stat in UK's favor, I thought, was that Louisville blocked only one shot.

UK finally shot like a lot of people thought they could shoot.
