1. Missed layups and turnovers absolutely killed us tonight, especially in the 1st half and obviously the beginning of the 2nd half. Take away the turnovers and the margin is much much closer.

2. Carr and Amari were both awesome in the paint. They thoroughly outplayed Auburn's bigs and we dominated them on the glass. Carr is enormously important for us on the offensive end so if we continue to get these types of performances from him it will bode well

3. Butler was much better in the 2nd half and got to the rim at will for most of the game, but he HAS to be able to finish. Him getting to the rim adds a whole different element to our offense, but if he can't finish it doesn't matter.

4. With Jax out, we absolutely cannot afford games like this from Oweh. Puts way too much pressure on Brea to score which he can, but obviously he's not the most comfortable with creating his own shot. Makes it so much harder for us to score

5. This was a game where we needed to knock down shots. With Jax out, we HAVE to get some made shots from guys like Perry, Noah, Almonor when they're in for limited minutes. It hurts that 2/3 starting guards are not really shooting threats. 4-17 from 3 isn't gonna cut it, especially when Auburn is 12-26.

6. Auburn's guards are awesome. The defense wasn't great tonight, but a lot of times I felt like I just had to tip my cap with some of the plays they made (especially the banked in threes).

7. Today sucked, but what I'm really interested to see is how we respond to this on Wednesday night and again @Mizzou. We can still reach our goals if we use this performance to light a fire under our guys.

8. Auburn is really really good and it's clear we're not at their level from a talent and personnel standpoint. Hopefully in the next 1-2 years we start to get more dudes so that we don't ever look outclassed like we did tonight.
