* Cats defend the home court and get the win over TXA&M … the Aggies tried to make it a rock fight, slowed the tempo, played physical, but the Cats fight back the last 5 minutes of the 1st half to get a lead they would never relinquish.

* Williams played like the big man we need. He used that big body to bang with the Aggies .. 8pts and 12 rebounds, 4 assists. He was a big factor tonight.

* Robinson, Carr, Oweh … thought they got the job done tonight. Robinson with 8 rbs to go with 22 pts. Butler is essential to our success, but not his best with 6pts, 7 assists and 6 turnovers. Cats, for as old as they are, a bit loose with the ball … 17 turnovers. Our bench was okay … need Brea to get going again.

* Cats +9 on the glass was huge. Impressive stat for the Cats. The 3pt line, Aggies 7-30, don’t think they made a 3 in the 2nd half, Cats 9-27, not great, but good enough tonight.

* Up Next: Cats will face an angry and desperate Bama team in what is likely going to be a high scoring game. Bama is deeper than UK, something to keep an eye on. With Ole Miss winning at Bama, Missouri currently beating the Gators at Florida …. every game is big in the uber-deep SEC, winning at home is critical.
