* Cats lose to a bad South Carolina team in Rupp Arena, a supposed 20 point underdog. The first 5 minutes was ultimately the difference, the Cats never recovered the lead. Kentucky is consistently a horrible team coming out of the gate.

* Tired of talking about coaching.

* Cats got roasted from the 3pt line. 11-20 vs 3-10, for a +24. Carolina was throwing everything in tonight. ..and it seems like every offensive rebounding bounce went their way (15 offensive rebounds).

* We are so bad at guarding the pick and roll. I have never understood why Cal doesn’t teach his team to hedge out hard like most teams do. Alternatively, given how bad we are, might as well just switch everything.

* From what I have observed, the Cats talent level just isn’t there. And, I am including physical and mental toughness in that talent calculation. Any win this team gets is going to be difficult … we just aren’t a good team.

* Toppin out, Wallace got hurt early in the game, Fredricks with a hurt shooting hand, … the NCAA allows teams to have 13 scholarships. Cal never loses them … because he doesn’t want to manage that many players … even though every year we have players get hurt, sick, suspended, transfer, academics, NCAA issues, etc …. I don’t understand why we don’t use our allotted scholarships.

* You have to ask who is this team going to beat moving forward.

* Up Next: Cats travel to take on the Vols on Saturday afternoon. Lord have mercy. Regardless the outcome, the thing I will be watching is whether our players have any pride and fight in them. You can roll over and quit or you can give it everything you have regardless the situation/outcome.
