* Cats get physically dominated tonight against Miss. St. The game is often won or lost on the LOS and the Cats lost that battle on both sides of the ball tonight. In addition, way too many mistakes to overcome.

* Cats trail 14-10 late in the 2nd quarter, call timeout instead of getting to 14-13 ... and the then Cats implode the last 5 minutes of the 2nd quarter and get outscored 28-6 the rest of the game.

* Cats attempts at the deep ball almost all unsuccessful tonight, and have 2 INTs as well. Miss. St. took that part of the game away tonight. Sometimes you just have to take what the defense gives you and not force things.

* With Lewis gone for the year and Hatcher out tonight, Cats defensive line severely lacking. Moving forward Cats have to find much more talent on the DL if UK is going to take that next step forward as a program.

* Kicking game that hurt us last week was much better tonight.

* The separation between Boom and the rest of our RB's is significant. Cats need to have players coming in who can excel at the RB position.

* Too many dropped balls that kill drives ... and by our best receivers. Personal foul penalty inside the 3 yard line a killer. Mistakes that prevent points going on the board.

* That Auburn loss ... hurt.

* Up Next: Cats vs. Tennessee next Saturday night. Can the Cats physically match up with the Vols and can they stop a running QB will be huge keys to the game.
