You just have to line Matt Jones pockets for NIL to turn around from the gloom and doom he claimed. Per usual there will be no specifics given because this is about one thing. Trust him though, “positive advancements”.

So looks like the 15 club members who have already given money to the 15 club can pay an entry fee to get into this exclusive event at which they can pay for “exclusive “ merchandise 🤔.
I read it as members get 2 free tickets and it’s $15 for nonmembers.

Any word on the “positive advancements? Y’all have been on this all winter saying it gonna be the downfall of UK football and how we’re behind everyone else. Now that there are “positive advancements” no one seems to care. Weird.

I too am curious what was said. Assuming it was at least in part pushing this collective of which he clearly has some financial stake. It doesn't bother me that he does. I think it's smart. I do however think any such relationship or benefit should absolutely be disclosed so people can be fully informed.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say you’re just gonna have to be happy with “positive advancements” just like when Barnhart and JMI “handcuffed” NIL there were no specifics given as to how they handcuffed NIL, and when “big changes” were made, no specifics were given about what big changes were made. Just go with the narrative and don’t ask questions because there will ever be specifics. UK didn’t support NIL, was late to the party, then UK and JMI handcuffed NIL, now there are positive advancements.
Per Jones event went well with 30-40 large donors in attendance and they hope to bring more in. I dont know the definition of large donor but I would have to assume these aren't people paying the minimum membership each month.
According to @catben, “Last night 30 of UK's biggest boosters set a path forward to hopefully get UK on the right track IN SPITE OF JMI”. So positive advancements and a path forward was set.
