Portal etiquette

The Bucknuts (Michigan fans have that much right) and the Fighting Harbaughs are now sidelined after two pretty wild and fun playoff games (4 works, 12 will be a watered down mess, but I digress so that the harpies may hi-Jack this thread).

Will UM and OSU players now enter the portal? Or is it too late?

If they can and will enter, how long must they wait so as to not seem disrespectful to their teams after heartbreaking losses?

SEC has February 1st rule to play in 2023. So the quicker they get in portal, the quicker they can get to a team to play in 2023. But it's sort of not fair as all the other portal kids have taken spots they might have wanted.

Spring classes start in what, 2-3 weeks? Would think decisions will happen quickly.
