POLL: Who wins the Super Bowl? Seahawks or Patriots?

I can't stand either team, so it would be fine with me if the game wasn't even played. However, since all of this deflated football stuff, I want Seattle to give NE a seal beating.

NE has lost all the Super Bowls they have played against really solid D's, so I'll go with Seattle.

To the guy predicting NE by 10, they have never "blownout" anyone in their 3 Super Bowl wins so not sure why they would Seattle.

If Seattle was healthy I'd take them by double digits, but since they have key injuries on D I'll say they grind it out by 3-4. The Seahawks are not going to turn it over a bunch of times two games in a row, and they have a nice balance to their offense and will put up points on NE.

A team with controversy has lost in every round of the playoffs since Dallas beat Detroit with that non-call.

Dallas then lost then Green Bay lost now NE loses

Seahawks: 24
Patriots: 14

My dream scenario is Richard Sherman gets blown away on his coverage resulting in a last second touchdown. Then I want to see how mouthy he is afterward.

Your poll's as close as the line.

I really could care less once the Bronco's lost. I guess I should pull for NE being the AFC champ, but I have family in Seattle. Still, wish GB or Indy had won. I could have actually been for one of those teams. I'm astounded that people are paying $10,000 and more for a ticket to a single football game.

I would sleep well tonight if that happened.

Teams change personnel yearly, so I knew this isn't the same Seahawks defense as last year. But until I read a little yesterday, I didn't realize how true that is. Seattle had 7 guys they rotated for the front 4 last year. Of the 7, 3 are no longer on the team and a 4th is on injured reserve. Sherman reportedly has torn ligaments in his elbow, Thomas has a dislocated shoulder which will be prone to popping out again, and now Chancellor has a dinged up knee. I think that's asking too much to overcome. Ordinarily I'd take a great D in any matchup, even against a great offense. I'm pulling for Seattle (Patriots are probably the only team I like less), but I'll be a little surprised if the Seahawks pull this out...

I just voted Seahawks because there's no way they throw an interception with the game on the line while they have a perfectly good all- star back on their roster. Pffft. That'd never happen.

I'm not even a Seahawks fan and that pisses me off.

I wouldn't sleep well tonight if I had paid $10,000 to see the game, even though it was a very good one for the Pros. Why would you do that, so you could brag to your friends?

The Super Bowl has never been for the common man/fan. Its usually for executives or wealthy folks using the ticket as a 'status symbol.' Its why many folks piss away money for courtside seats or a ridiculously expensive car that no one would know was a luxury car without the brand emblem on the hood. Just a status thing because no game is wroth $10k.
