Listened to this earlier today. Great stuff! I love how close these guys are and definitely recommend this for any UK fans that don't mind a little colorful language.

Both of them have always been adamant they wanted to come back and were heavily considering prior to sitting down w Cal. I don’t think it’s that far fetched that if they could have made a few million that you may have seen them for a year 2….no way all 4 tho.
I played pickup with Cuz, Bledsoe, Wall a couple times after they got knocked out by WVU in the Johnson Center. The mere fact they were coming over to play with the normies shows how much they truly embraced being at UK and was trying to soak up their final days as a student once the pro decision was made. They could have easily just ran games in the Craft center or the seaton center w other UK athletes
They both said that they think they could've signed an NIL deal worth more than their 1st year nba money, and if so would've probably come back. Cuz sounded more emphatic about it than Wall.
Also funny to learn in that video that JW stole the "john wall dance" from Cuz...

Wall was hugely complimentary of Adou Thiero at the end, compared him to OG Anunoby. If Adou blows up in the tournament (and man I hope he does), he’ll be gone this year as a 1st round pick. He’s absolutely on the scouts radar now, but definitely projected for next year as of now. If he goes and averages 12 in a Final 4 run though…
Not sure if you listed to this, but Wall says he was leaving after one year no doubt, and this was known from the jump.
Good listen. I know there is a lot of arguments on here about one and done, but listening to them talk about themselves and Bledsoe as "projects kids" and all getting drafted made me smile. Their moms struggled to give the opportunity to get exposed to the chance, and they succeeded. Great success stories. The really sad thing is that there are thousands like them that don't make it. Two great ambassadors for our brand.
I saw a few clips on twitter . I will definitely watch a few episodes. I wish all 3 would do an episode together(Wall, Bled, Boogie)

Yeah. I listened. I know that’s what he said here and that was absolutely the plan coming from high school/during his recruitment. But he has also spoke in other interviews that after the season ended he and cousins both really considered a potential return before their “exit interview” with Cal where he advise them “if you want to take care of my family then come back, if you want to take care of yours then leave”.
It was the plan from the jump and it’s what ended up being reality… that doesn’t mean that there wasn’t a short period where a “what if” existed after having a great freshman experience and then coming up short. They were also at the beginning of the mass one and done (not just one or 2 across cbb (Rose/Evans etc) culture that is the norm now. It wasn’t as taboo at the time to be in college a 2nd year.
