What is up with doing the dumbazz WAVE while one of our players is lying on the field injured???
It's moronic and disrespectful to the injured player. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember this ever being a thing before this year.
It's like a stupid celebration of an injury to one of our own. I don't get it.

I was at the game and I cringed while this was going on. I don’t think it was intentionally disrespectful, but certainly a major lack of awareness on the part of the folks starting the wave. Not a good look.

You were probably were not at the game. Probably didn't show our fans doing the stupid wave on tv as a UK player lay injured on the ground being evaluated by medical staff.

People kneel for the flag nowadays, I suppose a wave during an injury isn’t too bad considering current generations.

Just shows how clueless most of our fanbase is. Noone should ever clap or do a wave while someone is down. Very poor taste.

UK football has many new fans. That's great. Just a good idea to try to learn and avoid things like this as it's very bad form

It started during the Youngstown game, as well, when Flax or some other player was on the turf getting treatment. Bad timing.
Yes! I thought it was a one time thing where the crowd didn't even get what was happening. But this is two games now this season it has happened. It reminds me of the movie Idiocracy....
I'm old enough to remember the days when a hush came over the crowd when one of our players went down instead of starting the wave and tossing around a beach ball. It is just bizarre.

Did you hear the UT fans boo-ing when one of the FL players was injured on the field? I would take the wave over that dumbassery.
Booing an opponents' injury is worse than cheering while one of our own is down and being attended to by medical staff??? I can at least see where the fans are booing assuming it is a fake injury to stop the clock....but wth rationale is there for a wave while a player is hurting.
I know I wouldn't want to look up from my back on the turf to see that sh** happening and hear cheering.

While true we shouldn't have to pick and choose. Hopefully the fanbase will get knowledgeable enough to know you just don't do the wave or any other hokey stuff with a player down

Yeah. I saw it at the LSU game last year too and cringed.

“back in my day” the stadium was silent if a guy was down and everyone took a knee on the field until he was up or off the field.

You guys sure it wasn't Westboro Baptist Church, doing the wave while holding signs that read: God hates UK not being able to put away a team from the MAC?
