Please help me figure out premium seating

My wife and I try to make it to Kentucky once a year for a football game. We travel from the east coast and we have a 6 month old. The only way we'd bring the little one to the game is if we had premium tickets with access to the Mezzanine Club or the Field Club. If the little guy gets overwhelmed or it's too loud, I want my wife to be able to retreat to somewhere comfortable for a bit.

First, if I buy tickets off stubhub for sections 25-27, will that automatically grant me access to one or both of the clubs?

Next, I understand that every person needs a ticket regardless of age. If I buy two premium seats and then a less expensive seat for the nugget, will anyone give me a hard time getting into the premium seats with my son? I figured so long as I have a ticket to get him in the stadium, getting him to my own seat won't be an issue.

If this ends up being too much red tape we'll find a local babysitter, which can be easier said than done when traveling from out of state.

Still not sure we can make it, but if we can, I want to get the full experience. This would be a great season to see a game.

medeski - I'm a poor, so I can't help you with the premium seating info. But, you are going to get bad/conflicting info on here - I would recommend that you you contact UK and get the straight scoop.

Sounds good. I tried to buy direct from UK athletics and they only permitted season ticket sales for these seats. I'll report back with my findings about club access.

I'll update this thread. I finally got a response from the K fund.

I was informed that any of the seats in the premium section must be accessed through either the field club or the mezzanine club. Thus, even if you buy a section 25-27 seat off stub hub, you get club access. They will take your ticket and give you a wristband.

The rub is if you have an lap child they'll want to see a ticket for the child too (a premium ticket for that section, not just any ticket). I believe there's a good chance that a ticket taker would let you take the kid in to that section without a ticket for that section, but there's no guarantee.

My friend George Washington here says my child has a club ticket ...
