.... may just have cost the packers the game... This is why I hate the prevent.

It's definitely dangerous but if you keep everything underneath and make the tackle, I would take my chances.

I'd rather see teams just play a normal pass coverage rather than play prevent and give the QB two days to find someone open.

I don't think it is any coincidence that teams are almost always able to drive the field against the prevent.

I agree, but the penalty that was called a live ball foul the play before would have probably made it academic if it had been called properly.

Nobody mentions the hail Mary two pt. conversion...If that isn't successful then the fg by the Packers wins the game...

So true. Refs have stunk it up n the NFC playoff games.

I thought the Packers had brought in ole 3rd and Grantham to call that defensive play, it was one of his signature series.

Matthews must not be part of the prevent D. Seemed to me he spent a good portion of the 4th quarter on the sideline.

Didn't notice that, but I thought Matthews played great all days especially in not giving them all day, a crime if he wasn't in unless he was injured.

I did not understand that either - player commits a foul for Seattle but no penalty was called? What was the explanation?

It wasn't even close. He grabbed him and yanked him back. It was obvious.

Plus muffing the onside kick.

Plus not making a play on the ball on the 2pt.

Plus playing clock instead of trying to get a first down on the last possession.

Plus the prevent.

Plus the dropped interception.

Plus settling for 2 FGs at inside the 5......

I'm willing to face the fact that my Packers just choked.

Only one SUPERBOWL should matter to the Packers and their fans....SUPER BOWL 50 next year. This loss was training for their young players for next years run. Grab another load of good rookies like this past year in the draft and your ready to rock. BJ Raji will be back too. HEADS UP Packers fans as the REAL SUPER BOWL is next year.

If I'm not mistaken, they did call the penalty but Green Bay declined it. They took the play making it 3rd and 19 instead of 2nd and 25. That was my understanding anyways.

"Plus playing clock instead of trying to get a first down on the last possession."

When that happened, I yelled, don't do that! There was a clear 20 yard gain in front of him and maybe more. Had there been two minutes on the clock rather than 5 or so it might have made sense.
