That's not what a platoon is lol. That's just called substituting players and it happens literally every game that's ever been played.
It turns out rotating players and figuring out who should get the most minutes should be a key priority. Hopefully Cal is reading this thread.
I think we'll see Cal changing the starting lineup in the front court more than he has in the past. I think he'll be more inclined to go with who is being the most productive in a given time and that will probably change some from week to week. Knox, Diallo, and Green should get most of the backcourt minutes.
The most dominant I have ever seen any UK team perform is when Cal went with a pure platoon system in the first part of the 14-15 season. That team dropped a little when they went with a traditional rotation system. I loved that platoon system (for that team).

No, but one of this team's biggest assets will be scrimmaging each other. There's enough guys with good talent to split evenly and work on all aspects of the game. When a team has walk ons or fillers participating it limits competition.
Simultaneously working on offensive sets, defense, rebounding, or game situations versus high level competition is highly advantageous. The best 5 we face the majority of the season will share a locker room.

I think cal should platoon his socks. Like every tv timeout change them to a different color on the bench. I think it would really boost team moral. *As stupid as this post is, it makes more sense than the butters post*
