He can shovel out BS by the wheelbarrow. I imagine he will do well. It's just a matter of what the NCAA believes.

I love that he's doubling down. It's hilarious. Again, self awareness is something the entire Louisville administration completely lacks. He's essentially taking shots at the NCAA and his arrogance combined with sarcasm makes for some good entertainment. Can't wait to see how the NCAA responds with his attitude.

Sorry rick, contrary to what you believe, the university itself has been on probation before and has had several investigations in the past along with hiring Clint hurt who had a show cause on him. So yeah, stop with the choir boy rhetoric you idiot. Matter of fact, keep it up. I'd rather see a shocked and disheveled look on your face when/if the NCAA smacks you down.

Sadly, after this, there's nothing the Cleveland clinic can do about this particular condition for ol rick.

The man is a world class liar so he shouldn't have a problem pulling the wool over the NCAA's eyes.

I agree to an extent. He's always lied but people believed him. Like most of the time, compulsive liars end up continuously lying to the point that people catch on. Once people catch on, the compulsive liar keeps it up because they inherently cannot help themselves and in turn make themselves look like an idiot and their look of idiocy just gets bigger and bigger and bigger. At this point in Pitino's compulsive lying ways, nobody except the uofl sheep believe him anymore. Whenever he says "______ is the next Michael Jordan" I now laugh. It's funny. I used to raise an eyebrow and question "what the hell? Is he serious"? But now I know he's a sad person and just the shell of his once holier than thou self. So, I believe the NCAA knows he's a moron. It doesn't sound like they took his defense serious at all so whatever he says in their meeting will probably be laughed at as well.

Pitino and Meiners...1 example of why I hate Louisville radio. [eyeroll]
Meiners is as scummy as they come..when SEXtino took the Loserville job Terry showed his true colors and attacked the UK Fanbase..Called us Hillbillies...Black Lung Reciepients Trailer Trash He was thrown out of the UK Alumni Association Lunches that he used to emcee..Alumni called his sponsors to ask that they drop his show as UK grads were customers..I called Patty Swope myself..an hour later Meiners called my cell phone and threatened me that Pitino had folks that could "take care of me" [laughing][laughing] I asked him if a horses head could be put in my bed? then hung up on the yapp.....i am still here 15 years later..Meiners and SEXtino deserve each other..talk about trash..:cool2:

The NCAA has already came back and in the nicest of terms said, "we think you are a F'ing liar". The facts are there. One player was quoted as saying,"everyone on the team knew when a big recruit came to town there would be a party at Minardy Hall". I think the underage sex aspect of this situation has the NCAA furious at UL. They will hit them this summer.

During a radio interview on WHAS-840, Pitino suggested the hearing should be sometime in the coming weeks. U of L could not confirm a date.

"What I've done the last 30 years in terms of being compliant to all NCAA rules – no deals with agents, AAU coaches, nothing like that," Pitino said, "I feel very comfortable answering their response and I look forward to that so-called day in court."
RP's arrogance is beyond words. Only a fool would look forward to so called day in court with given scandalous charges against UL program. Unless maybe it's less embarrassing with this than his testimony of his "15 seconds" on the restaurant table.

A summary of the interview from TheScore He didn't deal with AAU coaches, just ran a brothel out of the dorm for a few years :joy:

Louisville has had a gray cloud over its basketball program ever since allegations were made that women were paid to come to campus to woo recruits with sex and dancing.

After investigating the claims, the NCAA charged head coach Rick Pitino with failure to monitor his team, something he strongly denies.

In a radio interview on Friday with WHAS-840, Pitino said he's ready to sit in front of the NCAA and defend himself and the program.

"What I've done the last 30 years in terms of being compliant to all NCAA rules - no deals with agents, AAU coaches, nothing like that," Pitino said, as transcribed by Jeff Greer of the Courier-Journal, "I feel very comfortable answering their response and I look forward to that so-called day in court."

Pitino suggested the hearing with the Infractions Committee could happen in the coming weeks, though Louisville has not confirmed a date.

Overall, Louisville has acknowledged 37 of the 40 charges against the program by the NCAA.

I'm Rick Pitino. My bud is Tom Jurich. What can they do to me?

Maybe Pitino is hoping he can get the NCAA investigators in the night before for a "debriefing".

Pitino has lots of skeletons in his closet...I can tell you about Pat's Steak House in Louisville where the team ate on Louisville visits..[eyeroll][eyeroll][eyeroll][eyeroll][eyeroll][eyeroll]

I'd love to hear it.

I was at outback when he took the team there for dinner once. It was the team with david Padgett and Terence Williams. Well, "T-Will" as he's called was being completely rude to a waitress, basically sexually harassing her. This isn't heresay either. I saw it. She went to take a picture and as she turned around he put his hand out and acted like he was gonna grab her rear end. After the picture she came back and he again, while she didn't notice, acted like he was grabbing her behind and then made a gesture like she was going to sit on his lap.

What I liked was at one point they were getting a little loud. Andre McGee and Edgar Sosa (true story) were going back and forth about who the best rapper was. David Padgett sternly told them to stop, be quiet and have some respect. They listened. I always liked Padgett and could tell how hard of a worker he was after so many surgeries on his knees yet still being a leader on the court. That proved my opinion was correct.

let's face it SEXtino is one of the lowest individuals on the face of the planet..uavel and him deserve each other..

I'm sure everyone would like to hear it.
The team would go upstairs to a private Dining Room the Horndog would go into the bar and troll for chicks. I heard him ask a few to have a drink .."here's my card I'm the Coach at UK" I thought this guy has 5 children Wow..Now I know..

Good thing his memory didn't go back to 40 years.

Really? I guess that thing with Hawaii was just a misunderstanding. :cool2:

The NCAA knows the truth, they will ask probing questions and let Pitino trap himself with his own lies. Ask Bruce Pearl what happens when you are caught in a lie to the NCAA.

Funny, I remember him hiring somebody to get Teague.

I guess if it doesn't work, it doesn't count.
