Pickens impressed Smoke

I’m pulling for UGA, but am adopting their mantra: Dawgs ain’t got a chance with that 5’ 4” walk on QB! Saban is the master of the realm and shan’t be denied!!!

I don't know about that, depends on our scheme, same as before no chance.
No I think the stars are aligned. Georgia caught Bama coming off a recent loss and maybe sold themselves a little short a couple weeks ago. UGA has the D to slow Bama way down and I think the offense is just good enough to score enough to win. Plus they’ve got the revenge factor and Bama may come in a little bit overconfident having beat y’all recently. I like Georgia in this one.

Pickens is also an elite level receiver that missed almost the entire year. If he is back to anywhere near 100% he could be the difference in this game IMO.

UGA is stuck playing the same old man ball that caused Bama to start losing to teams with superior QB play at the time like Clemson and Ohio St (even though Bama had the better overall talent) Bama has re tooled for today's game, UGA is playing ball control and "out talent" the other team. That works till you play a team with close or equal talent and a Heisman level qb. I expect Bama to win. The QB position is a force multiplier for the entire team in today's game and will be the deciding factor in this one. You ain't gonna beat Bama with woody Hayes football in this day and age. Defense and running the ball can help get you there but no longer wins championships in today's game.

I disagree, Bama will definitely slow down UGA run game and force the QB to win the game. Bryce Young is capable of throwing for 400 yards and multiple td and the UGA QB simply isn't. If Bryce Young comes to play, Dawgs have no chance

If you give this much time to Saban to dissect your weaknesses I would not be so confident. He is GOAT type coach and has plenty of talent to get what he wants accomplished. UGA may very well end up winning but no one is going into that game confident, or shouldn’t.

I agree with Bama being able to throw for 400 yards, but UGA is capable of throwing for that many as well, had 340 in a losing effort in SEC championship game. The issue is Kirby won't if we get a lead, It's happened the last 3 times we played Bama, got a 2 score lead and went ultra conservative and they came back.

Best of luck, anything can happen but thats just how I see it. I still can't understand why the other qb didn't get more pt after his injury healed.

Apparently that's a national security risk because it's something no one is willing to talk about so it leVes lots of speculation. But the biggest speculation is the dad is the helicopter pilot from he'll. No idea if that is the real reason or not.

Nah, you really don't. Anyone with a functioning brain cell knows Bama is going to beat the proverbial dog-piss out of UGA. 2nd isn't bad, but it's still losing.

So you don't have to play for them before you can win it? You have not seen me make a claim UGA was going to win it, but there are 128 other teams who would like to be in our position. We could certainly get the dog pics beat out of us, how much would that be in your opinion? But we are there, playing in the game and no matter how small we have a chance to win it.

Not Bama. They had you all beat the day the 4 teams were announced. The other 3 teams were playing for 2nd.

There are 128 teams who would like to get embarrassed by Bama on national television?

I don’t think a negative% really gives you a chance.

Where have I heard that before? UK football fans, help me out. Where have we heard about a coach turning conservative after getting any kind of lead?

Grumpy give us a breakdown of who all you think GA will lose off 2 deep this year. Pretty please

It's pretty easy to see you have zero objectivety about the game, you are either a Bama nut hugger or just don't like UGA. But you are going to say not 1 other team would want to be playing for a NC Monday night?

In your opinion, what is getting embarrassed on national TV? I just want to know your definition of being embarrassed,.

I will do the best I can. On the starting 11 on defense 5 are out of eligibility, unless they want to be a super Sr, but I can't see that, 4 are Jr and draft eligible, all look to be no later than 2nd day pick so persumed they are gone. That leaves 2 that aren't draft eligible. The backups are all sophisticated and frosh are scheduled to return. A couple 3rd team guys are Sr.

Offensively number 3 who plays a good bit is a 4th year guy, all WR are scheduled to return, co starter at LT is a Sr and LG is a Sr. All other OL are young, most will be sophisticated or rs frosh. Cook is gone, rumors around White returns for a super Sr year but I doubt that happens. Your guess is good as mine at QB. Bennett can come back as a super Sr. What else is he going to do? Pretty sure Daniel's is out, and Beck most likely. So Vandergriff or Stockton will likely be our backup at QB. All backups are pretty young, Pickens hasn't decided if he is returning or not. Not the transfer portal can change the other spots, Not sure where they will look, OL will be better next year, with all receivers returning the group should improve, we were probably weaker st RB than anytime I c a n Remer, but Cook is elite out of the backfield, has WR hands.

Will drop off on front 7, but back end will be better and will not be as good as 21, offense should be better even with Bennett, Vandergrift is big and fast with a big-time arm, Stockton is alot like him, probably better runner, Vandegriff with better arm. That is the best I can do.

Neither to be honest. I prefer GA winning and am sick of hearing about Bama's dominance. But Bama is playing for their 7th title under Saban and his 8th overall. They are dominant for a reason and GA is going to be another victim of that. And that's being entirely objective.

Objectively one would see Bama was on fire, played their best game of the year. Our game plan contributed to that, but if we had gotten the game they played against AU, UF, A&M, or even Arkansas, we bear then 3 scores, unfortunately we got the game they played against OM. To beat them it would take us playing a perfect game, same as the one they played against us in the SEC Championship Game. We need to do a little flopping early when Saban goes hurry up to wear or big guys out early.

Thank you for taking the time.

That's the best I can remember. #88 will be the leader of the Dline next fall, he is a good player, unless 44 returns. He improved tons this year, he is probably too 2-3 round guy, which is nothing to sneeze at, but another year would have him pushing 1st round hard. He was a multi year Ll state bb player in HS. So a little behind technique wise, but is turning into a dominant edge guy. Just runs so good for 280 lb.

All you gave were subjective opinions about coulda, shoulda, woulda. Objectivity dictates that Bama is far more prepared for this as they have been here like 9 times in the last 12 seasons. This is also going to be the 3rd time this season you're playing Bama and Saban. This will be the hardest one for UGA yet. And they already steamrolled you all in the SEC Championship game and they were far from perfect.

By the end of the 1st quarter Monday evening, you will see firsthand what I mean. Congrats on being 2nd best!

Bama di2 dn't play their best or top 2 game of the season? Did you not watch them scrape by AU the week before, beat UF by 2 earlier in the year, struggle against Arkansas, lose to an average A&M? Those games happened, they arepionship game in the books, if you think Bama played at those levels in the SEC Championship we beat the 3 scores like we did those teams. We had 4 common opponent, we won those by a combined 115 points, Bama won them by a combine 39, 28 against the vols. But them playing their best in Atlanta is subjective? If you really believe that you are posing in the wrong blog.

You seem to think I said we will win Monday, nowhere have I said that or predicted a win. But I do believe we have a chance, and if Bama gives us their AU effort we will beat them.

Maybe we will be out of it by the end of the first quarter, but that wast the case last ge or any we have played them.. But if that is how it goes, not a single one of the other 128 wouldn't like to be us.

Bama is an unbelievable run right now, you want me to be embarrassed if we lose to them again. Losing by 17 to the best program in the history of college football isn't embarrassing
But if you see it that way, how embarrassing is it to lose to said team by 17 on National TV?

I can't even make out what you're saying in half of the post because the spelling and grammar are so bad.

No, Bama didn't play a perfect game to beat you. They may have played better, but that is because they are used to playing in championships because that is what matters at Bama. No, UGA doesn't have a chance. The game was decided weeks ago.

I can think of a lot of teams that preferred playing in their bowls than getting humiliated by Bama.

Best of luck!
