Last time a UK opponent shot 47 or more FTAs? 14-JAN-1997 vs. Georgia who shot 30-50. 17 times this has happened. UK is 9-8 in these games.

No...that was Senior Day in Rupp Arena. You won't see that disparity for the home team in Lawrence...Carmichael...or the Dean Dome...when the winningest program in the history of revenue generating athletics comes to town...

Kansas missed 17 free throws out of 47. We hit 13-22. If we hit a normal percentage then we win. If I was other teams, I would be fouling the hell out of Kansas based on that stat.

If we hit 1 more (in regulation) we win. But "what if's" are worth nothing.

I'm surprised we are 9-8 in games with that many FTs, although I bet many of the 9 wins were called tightly both ways and we shot 35-40+ also.

What is our record in games where our FT deficit is -25 or more? I bet that has to be really low (like 1-10). Although until we had to start fouling the deficit was more like -18.

We foul out at KU , foul out at UCLA and foul out when we play at UNC . When we play other blue bloods on their court we will be in foul trouble . I prefer neutral site games for this reason , I just don't see why refs give the home team an advantage . It shouldn't be that way for any team , home court advantage should consist of many things but how a game is called should not be one of them .

It seems like they do it for more theatrical reasons versus calling the game fair.

It used to seem like Indiana shot that many free throws every game during Bobby Knights run. It was difficult to fathom how a team that ran a motion offense, that was built off of screening and treated the dribble as a morally corrupt concept, could live at the foul line.
