Under the McVay scheme last year, it seemed like almost every passing play had routes at every level. This year, there seem to be many plays where everyone is short or everyone is long and not nearly as many plays with multiple levels. Is that what you're seeing?

Max Duffy said they've had to dumb down the offense multiple times this year because guys aren't putting in the work to learn it... So I'd say that's the problem.

At least so far, when we've run PA, Will has had time and we've had some success. Especially on 2nd and 7 plays, we need to run more PA. Keeps the LBs at home for a bit longer and maybe our TEs could sneak out and catch a pass.

We still run levels on everything. The only thing that changed is some of the execution. This year the QB is asked to read the defense. He can't.

I heard that they don't believe in Scran so it doesn't matter how simple or complex the playbook is.

I also heard that too from Duffy. Just terrible on both sides. They all liked COEN though.

I don’t believe that, but if true it’s the coaches job to motivate the players. Another Scang failure!

I believe Coen route combos are significantly better than whatever snang is putting together. I have seen few of the crossing routes, double moves etc that wandale made a living on last year. Nobody is open. Nobody is free. The 49ers and rams scheme be from the same family but they are cousins at best and are very different
