Parrish leaves KU #1 in his 25 and 1 despite suspension of Morris

Unbelievable. I mean, actually it's 100% believable.. but still.

Kansas got to this ranking, in part because of Morris who is expected to be a starting-calibre player. While at the same time, losing him is now not a big deal.

That's not a #1 roster.

This! Just wish we got them a few more weeks into the season.

No way should they be ranked above Duke.

That's kind of my thought even before Kansas lost this guy. As much as it pains me, I'd give the nod to Duke for #1. Not only do they return the same key pieces that Kansas does, but they actually have some potential game-changing recruits coming in (although not like what they used to have). 3 of their freshman are ranked higher than Elmarko, who seems to be getting a lot of extra buzz for a barely top25 recruit, playing behind Harris.

I think they know that Hairpiece Self has a 5 Star about to be paroled from prison and is coming to Kansas for a half semester. Way better and a lot more violent then Morris.

Does anyone doubt that Morris will be in the starting lineup come Kansas’ first game? This came out early to avoid him missing games.

It is Kansas and Self which the media can't seem to get enough of. Also he knows that the suspension will only last for 1 pre season game anyway.
Without K, Self is the new Slurpee.

At this point it wouldn't surprise me. Bama plays people that were at murders, so why not play an accused rapist?

And before we get this "he's innocent until proven otherwise", yes that's true. That also has NO bearing on your job. If you were arrested or under investigation for rape, your company would drop you like a hot poker on image alone. And they can do that. Sure, you can try to sue for that if you are acquitted, but again, that requires time and money.

Purdue at #2 is as laughable as Kansas at #1, will Purdue start an all-white backcourt again? Yikes. Edey will win you a lot of regular season games, but we have seen this story play out in March already.

Morris will play this season without a doubt. Just the latest in a long never ending line of player misconduct and criminal activity that KU and everyone else pretends didn't happen. Self and KU remain the media darlings they have been. Don't they have pending infractions before the NCAA? We haven't heard a peep lately about that

I hate Purdue, BUT----they return everyone. White b/c or not. Very good frosh in Myles COlvin(Top 50)---and a solid tansfer in Lance Jones.

Yeah they lost to a 16....So did UVA----and the following year they won the title. Last year is last year.
