Anyone know of a place to park to be near the baseball stadium? Our tailgate moved there from the Orange lot where I parked across Nich rd for years. I'm coming in from out of town so any ideas would help

You did not say the secret password..

It rhymes with "Meeeeeeeetch".

I guess I'm asking for top secret information on that side of the stadium...
Most anything you want to know about parking and such can be found here: http://ukathleticsgameday.com/football/
Look under "Maps" for permit and non-permit parking. It looks like the lots around the baseball stadium are permit only on gameday, but the library and the parking structure near the library are free parking.

I'm asking if homeowners near the baseball field sell parking. Either off cooper or off Euclid. I have always parked off Nich Rd behind someone's house.

Can't help you there - I live in GA.

If I were you, I'd just pull up in someone's yard, tie a $20 to a rock and throw it on their porch, and head on out... I'm sure it will be fine... [winking]

You should be able to park in the neighborhood behind the Nutter practice fields and off Cooper for free...about a 15 minute walk to the stadium if you get there early enough.

I used to park there but a friend of mine told me they placed signage there for no parking on gameday

It's hard to get parking info here, but you can see why. Who wants to tell you where there favorite parking spot is?

I can park anywhere I want. I just won't have a ride home after the game.

I used to park on Montclair or across Tates Creek on Lakewood. It was always free but the last couple years I've been paying $20 to park off Nicholasville Road.

I would be shocked if that is the case since it doesn't hurt traffic or anything. I do know you can only park on one side of the street. I will be coming in that way Saturday so will know then.
