Carolina must have really liked a specific guy.
They could have traded up to the 4-6 range and still been in a position to draft one of the QBs.
This QB class is interesting because there's not "the guy" that's blowing any one of the others away.
They all have #1 over all traits as well as things that in any other draft class they could slip down.
Levis and Stroud are the two safest bets. Clean up some minor things with the both of them and they could be all pros in short order with very little downside risk. They should be #1 and #2.
The other two, are riskier but if they hit, they hit.
I think Young is the riskiest of the whole lot. He's not even Breeze or Wilson size and I don't think Carolina has Sean Payton calling plays nor an all-time defense like the legion of boom. For Young to have success everything else has to be in place and go right around him. First and foremost, offensive line. Which typically isn't the case for teams drafting in the top 10.
Richardson at least has the size, brute strength, and overwhelming athleticism. His inaccuracy and inconsistency are risky, especially early in career. Ideally, he's a 2–3-year development.
Young, it could get ugly really quick via big hits, wear, and tear. Richardson it gets ugly really quick via mistakes, turnovers, decision making.
