I don't know if it was the 30 second shot clock, the one less time out, or our tempo set by Ulis but for once in a long time I really enjoyed the pace of the game. It felt like it kept moving overall even with a few stalled series. These were needed changes to the game that I feel so far have benefited the enjoyment of the televised game.
But I wonder if the shot clock change has impacted the number of fouls called by creating more possessions or having more possessions hurried at the end of the shot clock that may result in uncontrolled play and poor referee positioning. I didn't sense that last night but I found it odd to see us in the foul trouble we were in. Please keep comments about fouling on point with the topic. We all know there were some bogus calls and no-calls.
