That’s what I’m hearing.Wrong answer Oweh.
The answer we're looking for is "I didn't play an absolute perfect game, so therefore the refs had nothing to do with this".
You can mark that down as one head coach AND one player who now have had a problem with the officiating. But I guess they just don't know ball..
Bad look to be very honest. Even IF it were true, not something the player needs to be saying. Yes, Oweh should own his effect on the game rather than blaming the officials imo
I can respect the difference in view on it. As long as Otega is working just as hard, he can say whatever he wants as far as I am concerned. I also didn’t prefer the “we are your Super Bowl” comment while losing to Georgia but I trust Otega period. The good news is the Oweh is the only one here who played in the game. So while we all go back and forth on who is right and who is wrong, it's an actual player calling out the officials (and our coach two weeks ago).
Granted I will agree that you have to be VERY careful making statements like this. But its still nice to hear.
Yes. I think an additional terrible thing worse than the fouls CALLED are the fouls NOT called. I saw several times while Butler was bringing the ball up the court with someone literally inside of his arms. Used to be a foul.I think worse than the foul count, is where/when they call fouls. They bailed Nelson out after a miss several times. Reward offensive flopping. And they call non-shooting fouls on our opponents.
