in large part is ridiculous. Every decent win means we're going to go 11-1 and every loss, or close win against a bad team, means we should fire thin coach and replace the QB. I was there last night and it was disgusting to see so many fans give up on their team and leave.

Look, we are not a great team yet, but we are improving. Stoops told everyone that we would win ugly this year and we are. But we are 4-1 with 2 SEC wins and we haven't played Vandy yet. Our lone loss was to a team who just smacked the #3 team in the country.

We are fans of a perennial loser who is now slowly making strides. This is when you support the program, not overreact to every game. Some of you need to get a pair of balls and support your coach and team. I'm pretty proud that on a night where they played badly for 53 minutes they stepped up and made plays to win the game. We are 5-1 and that's all that matters.

Why can't people like you just admit we played like absolute $h!t. We did, we would of gotten beat by any other team on our schedule had this been another night.

No team goes out and plays well all 12 games... Did they play well? Absolutely not... They should have lost that game. Doesn't mean fans should be so quick to bash players and coaches. I'm quickly reminded why I stopped visiting message boarda

I'm glad we won. And I thought the fans did great. The fans did their part while the team did not.

4-1

I wish there was a board rule that you had to post your age. I just want to know if I'm arguing with a teenager or a full grown adult.

I might be able to cut a teen some slack but adults acting like some of the a-holes bashing the team?? No.

I was there too. There was booing. You are living in some kind of alternate reality that says everything must always be perfect. I doubt you are perfect. Football teams are not perfect. We won. 4-1. Headed for a bowl. Deal with it.

I've actually had season tickets for years. I stayed until the game was over. Why can't fans be disappointed in the way we played last night? Deal with it.

-disappointed is reasonable...losing your mind (not you...others) is not. OP os correct...i have been saying it for a while: manage expectations and life (fandom) is better.

-last nights game was 90% sh*t. It sucked to watch and was *very* frustrating. Jumping off a cliff is not warranted...nor is blaming the trouble on one player (many are doing so).

-ventng is cool. Repetitive bitching is not. Act like an adult.

Disappointed is fine, I was disappointed. We did play poorly, and I never said anything different. But bailing on the coach, booing the team, leaving early and jumping ship on the QB after a bad game is silly. This is UK, we are improving but in no way should the fan base feel entitled to expect us to play great all the time. It's stupid. We are 4-1 and yet some of our "fans" are unhappy. It's honestly mystifying to me.

Be disappointed all you want, but I'm going to keep perspective and realize that this program is improving.

I love the I've had season tickets for years fans, gotta love em.

UK is winning close games at an 80% clip so far this year. I'm going to choose to focus on how good (lucky) that is and not worry about how we have gotten to 4-1. Just win baby.

Let's see, 1st home game of season this year our team was destroying ULL and our fans began a mass exodus at halftime that got worse in the 3rd quarter and so on, the team then let's off the gas and ULL gets back in it, then our fans whine and complain about a close game for a week.

3rd home game of season, a pivotal must win against a new team to the conference, Missouri, a team that has beaten us every time since joining, and we have 5,000+ empty seats at the game.

Then last night, in what anybody with a football brain knows has the makings of a trap game--a letdown for UK v a smaller instate school with severe penis envy that was going to play its guts out, and the fans once again start bolting by the 1,000s at halftime throughout the rest of game. And the trashing of the team by the fans will continue for week and a half at least depending on that next result.

Short story: UK has one of worst football fan bases in the SEC, and that will continue be used against us in recruiting and attracting good coaches and retaining their services.
