You have to really wonder what their thought process is when they put a schedule like this together.I know they will probably take their lumps in the ACC and win numbers are important but you would think they would be a bit embarrassed to put this out there.Does Pitino really think this is a quality schedule,he would never be honest about it in public but it would be interesting to know what he really thinks about it

I can't wait til Wednesday. I hope the MSU fans are creative with their signs and taunts.
That schedule has so many cupcakes, some UL fans are going to get diabetes.

To be fair it's what SEC schools do in football....schedule one decent non-conference foe and then a bunch of patsies. The ACC is now with additions of Syracuse, Louisville, and Pittsburg going to be the best conference in most years. Between: North Carolina, Duke, Notre Dame, Miami, Syracuse, Florida State, Virginia and maybe Pitt they will have plenty of chances for quality wins.

There was thread on their forum of ticket holders crying about paying good money for such a pathetic home schedule.

I know they play in the ACC but other ACC teams schedule tougher OOC schedules. U of L will likely be ranked when UK plays them, and UK will win, but Louisville will take a bunch more losses in the ACC and will likely be a bubble team.

I think Michigan State is definitely top 5 right now however I like my team better. I think we are more balanced all around. We will learn a lot about our team on Dec 2. If we beat Michigan State at Michigan State, we are likely going to be the team to beat and will get everyone's best shot

A family member of mine who is a UL fan told me a couple days ago that this is the best team UL has ever had. Also tried to convince me that North Florida is the best shooting team in the country and will likely be a top 25 team at some point, which makes their win over them big.

God, every Louisville fan doing their best impression of slick Rick. Once UK slaps them around and wins (again), they won't be calling it the best Louisville team ever, anymore.

ESCORTino will be 1-8 against Cal and even a hummer from Katina Powell won't make him feel better,,:chairshot:

i don't know much about st louis (4-0) but they're playing them on a neutral court in brooklyn tomorrow night. st louis also beat that north florida 'best shooting team in the country' 70-57.

The narrative will change to "UK CHEATS!! OUR GUYS ARE L1C4!!!"

It's a tried and true formula many notable programs have used that most any reputable program abandoned years ago. Particularly in basketball with it's 31 game schedule. Lame for the program UL supposedly is in the eyes of their fans, but not really surprising given what's swirling around that program right now. CSU has a tougher OOC schedule than that! I like Cal and UK's approach much better, but really it's always been the UK way. We play the best, anywhere, anytime. AT UCLA and KU this very year with Duke and Ohio St on neutral floors. That covers all 4 of the other P5 conferences with some of the biggest names from those conferences, and not a single one of them is a home game.

Yep,when you talk about Basketball Powerhouses,St Louis always comes up on the list

Pitino has turned into a chicken little wimp and Little Brothel Fans are all morons for touting a weak schedule like that and padding the win column, pretty sad imo.If a team from a Power conference can't schedule at least 3 or 4 ooc games against top 100 competition, they should be ignored for the NCAA Tourney

Year in and year out, you can count on Ohio State and Louisville to have pathetic OOC schedules. OSU's is slightly better this year, but last year it was laughable. Louisville's is just pathetic. But it's hilarious listening to their fans try to defend it.

Not really. That's over 1/3 of their schedule in patsies. IF it were comparable they would have at most 7/8 easy games not 11. Throw in 3/4 D1 name schools and no one would be mentioning this. Do you think they actually scheduled MSU? IF not in the ACC they wouldn't even have this game.
