Agree officiating is terrible but that does not account for 1 basket in 9 attempts. Maybe this will be good for him to learn to contribute in other ways if your shot is not falling.

Oweh has turned into a bit of a ball hog as of late. I understand we are short-handed, but he’s forced a LOT of shots and hasn’t even looked to get the ball to open guys. He wants to be MJ but he’s more like MJ’s son (whatever his name was).

Rod, me thinks you need to look at the box score and see the stats for Otega and Amari.
Don’t misinterpret my initial post - Otega has been excellent this year and I hope he returns next year. But you cannot force the offense like he did tonight. You are not shooting or handling the ball well, so play defense, rebound, and find the open man. I believe Pope will talk to him about flushing this game and not try to carry the load by himself. He is a great young man and we need him to bounce back against Okla.

Oweh tried to play downhill like the guards of Alabama and draw fouls and get to the line. He got murdered three straight drives and didn’t get a single call and got touch fouls called on him. That will take you out of your game, be he started pressing big time.
