OT: What's your most memorable/favorite call by a sports announcer?

Future call by Tom Leach;

"Back at Rupp Arena where Kentucky blew out Tennessee 105 to 48. Tennessee was up 4 to 2 and after that it was Shittu show."

Cawood's last game, when we lost to Duke. I'll never forget that call for many reasons, of course.

"For those of you that when down the Glory Road with me...."
So many memories surround Cawood's calls,he was truly a legend.I was most fortunate to hear maybe all of his broadcasts,for a kid of about 6 to an old man it was a great ride down the Glory Road. If I listen just a little I can still hear "Hello everybody,this is Cawood Ledford coming to you from Memorial Coliseum on the campus of the University of Kentucky,where tonight the Kentucky Wildcats are set to do battle with..........."

I LOVED it when (I believe Clark Kellogg) was doing the UK / Ohio state game and that sumbitch was so giddy and happy the whole game when it seemed as if UK was gonna lose. I remember he kept semi bashing our players, Cal and UK... but THEN Mr. Brandon Knight had that dagger layup and it was nothing but SILENCE from him. He was so mad. It was amazing lol

This is Cawood Ledford coming to you from memorial coliseum in Lexington,Kentucky.

My favorite baseball call.

As a Pirates fan, yes we exist, eat one!

As been mentioned: Do you believe in Miracles?

"They Won it!" pACCker after NCSU beat the Coogs in '83.
"Villanova has done it!" - Musberger after Nova's upset over the Hoyas in '85.
"Listen to them." Stockton during the UK Blitzkrieg on Wake in '93.

Jack Buck has a couple baseball related with the Gibson and Puckett HR calls as well as the Ozzie Smith one.

Tom Leach is great. Aaron's shot were incredible but my most memorable is Leachs call on the 2012 championship. The count to 8 in 3..2..1. Great call.

One of my favorites was the ul announcers calling the "Stevie got loose" play. Only heard it once but I loved it.

My favorite one is when Joe Binder called the last officially televised chicken fight in Texas. It was amazing how he detailed the fight. "Mr. Cock, World Champion is down for the count". "Oh. Wait a minute he's getting up". "Mr. Cock just floored Mr. Rat Face". "It's over folks Mr. Cock has retained his middle weight championship belt". Now that was a night to remember.
