Except for championships. he's going crazy this year. Neither MJ nor Magic ever had 40 + triple doubles. I just witnessed 41!

Saw he tied Oscar Robinson. Maybe that's the legend he surpasses.

nope, it's actually not that close.

If you just looked at his triple double, yeah he sounds amazing.

The problem is, he is highly inefficient.

His FG is low 40s%, while Jordan eclipsed the 50% as a guard.
His TO this year is 5.4...which is complete shit.

Also, i am not sure guard getting a lot of rebound is all that fantastic. If you know that your team is going to get the rebound, i would think moving up the court to press is more important. (I'm not 100% sure) Attack before defense sets.

I also don't see the ball movement like you see with Spurs. Which focuses more on taking the best shot. I feel like OKC takes Westbrook's pass is a must shoot.

OKC is winning 80% of the time when Westbrook triple doubles.

Seems like this is the right play for this particular team.

Well of course. They are dependent on him doing everything.

Got to do more as a team. Or you'll always have shitty teammates. It's not even about this year. The reason they couldn't win it all with insanely talented and experienced team.

Haha when he gets a triple double they dominate. People act like KD leaving meant that RW is now trying harder? Huh? I think Durant bailing has motivated him. He's doing about as much as a single player can do for a team in modern pro sports.

This is what Westbrook wanted. He wanted Durant gone so he could take 30 shots a game and put up gaudy stats. However, he should absolutely not be MVP while shooting 41% from the field. Harden deserves it imo

1. Are you crazy
2. No
3. He's a great player but they're "engineering" triple doubles for him. If you watch any of their games you will see his teammates actually backing off rebounds so he can get them.

I don't remember Jordan ever shooting 42.5% and being in contention to set a league record for turnovers.

Hell no.

Westbrook is undoubtedly a freak of nature and a truly amazing talent. I'm not sure I'd ever want him on my team, though. He's the biggest ballhog in the history of basketball, and every game he plays in is about him.

MJ is in his 50s, so presently, yes.

Why post lies? Do you think no one is going to bother to check?

LeBron is averaging 4.1 TO's per game, not 5.1. That's the highest average of LeBron's career, but still means that LeBron has turned it over 115 times less in almost the exact same amount of PT (2668 minutes to 2673). Westbrook has averaged more than 4.1 three years in a row now, though his 5.4 per is a 1 per game jump from the career high he had 2 years ago.

^^^^^This. ^^^^^^

If he surpasses Oscar Robinson's legend he can say he is among the greatest to ever play the game. Where he ranks I will leave it to the experts to decide. But Oscar was one of the best of the best.

If you never saw him play, you missed out.

The dudes a huge ego-maniac and a ball hog ! Its probably not that hard to average a triple double if you take 673 shots per game .
They couldn't win a championship with Durrant theres no way they'll win one without him.

No wonder he left !
As hard as he tries , He'll NEVER beat the warriors !!
But its entertaining to watch
