OT: UGA Jordan Davis 4.78 40-yard dash

Monster.

Still, not sure what good that speed will do when teams who draft him will put him on the nose.

It’s important for him because it shows not only would he be a monster as a nose but he’s also quick enough and agile enough to play in any NFL defense, not just in a 3-4, so his stock will soar

I said during the playoffs that Davis could have started for the Bengals . . . this year, not next.

Explosiveness is what they're looking at.

I've watched quite a bit of the combine workouts (especially O-line) keeping an eye on potential Bengals draft picks. The one thing that jumps out at you is appearances very rarely indicate how well a guy is going to perform athletically, especially with these big guys.

Brock Bowers.... we get at least 2 more years against him and while the others are very good, Bowers is unfair.

I agree, it was impossible to know how good he actually was going to be. As for Washington, I personally wish he would decide to move to OT. He is ok receiver but devastating blocker, people end up on the ground when he blocks them. I wish he would come to grips with LT having longer careers and making more per year than a TE. No doubt in my mind if he changed positions today he would be first OL taken in 24. Could build your OL around him.
