As a Steeler fan, can't believe I'll be cheering for a non-tie tonight so we get in the playoffs. What scares me is that if there was ever a team that would lobby the other team for a tie, it would be the Raider's since they hate the league brass.
Same here. Our only hope is Najee going off and some interceptions, but I’m content after today. We're going to get absolutely taken to the shed vs. the Chiefs, but I'm proud of my Steelers for fighting to get into the playoffs after being mediocre all year.
Go steelers. Beat the chiefs and come to Nashville. It's great this time of year but can't guarantee the titans will turn it over 10 times again. And oh Henry is back. Good luck in Kansas city.
Geezus, you were already one of the worst posters on the board, then you go and do this and cement it.
Hahaha. Look at this soft bitch.Enjoy ignore. I just banned you. You mean absolutely nothing to me.
PS, aren't you supposed to be over on the basketball board crying, whining and pitching a hissy fit about Calipari?
Boy, somebody is full of themselves. Good luck ever winning that first Superbowl. My Stallworth, Palamolu and Kevin Greene Jersey's just laughed...though Greene never won one.
That was as crazy final game with those implications you’ll ever seeStillers are lucky San Diego called that last timeout as I think the Raiders were going to accept the tie and both go to the playoffs.
One of the craziest games I’ve ever seen. The SD coach is going to live with that one a long, long time (going for it on 4th and 2 at your own 18 was also genius-level).That was as crazy final game with those implications you’ll ever see
Yeah...I'm still trying to wrap my mind around why you call TO with less than 30 seconds on the 40 yard line. If you're were hoping to get the ball back or a score...why not use both TO before that play? Some oddly aggressive coaching decisions by that young coach. One of the craziest games I’ve ever seen. Opened at KC -13. Yes, we're probably going to get smoked on Sun night (they didn't even have Kelce when they beat the snot out of us a few games ago), but you never know. I think ESPN gave us a 5% chance of making the playoffs two weeks ago, so maybe there's another miracle in the making. Yesterday was a crazy day of football. We're going to get absolutely taken to the shed vs. the Chiefs, but I'm proud of my Steelers for fighting to get into the playoffs after being mediocre all year.
Especially since at that point, getting the ball back and scoring would have done nothing for you. A tie was just as good as a win. I think the only thing that may have mattered was which Wildcard game/seed that they would have gotten.....but a major brain fart by San Diego coach. But Derek Carr stated after the game they were going for the win...so maybe on that 3rd and 4th play was going to be the same play....maybe not.Especially since at that point, getting the ball back and scoring would have done nothing for you. I read an analysis of the game this morning on ESPN. Apparently the Chargers coach called the time out in order to switch out a LB for a DT because he knew LV would run on 3rd down. It sounds like the Chargers were content with a tie (since they were 6 seed regardless of a win or tie), but they knew the Raiders were trying to win if they could and he didn't want to make it easier for them. Had Jacobs been stuffed on that play my guess is that LV would have let the clock expire rather than go for a 57 yd FG.I think the only thing that may have mattered was which Wildcard game/seed that they would have gotten.....but a major brain fart by San Diego coach. Yes, the Raiders changed their play after the TO. They were in shotgun before the TO but Carr was under center and they were in I form after coming out of the TO. It would have been a run either way, but different formations and plays for sure.
All around just a crazy ending to a crazy game.
I guess that can be a rational argument....but he sort of called the TO close to after the play was dead on 2nd down (ie. he didn't wait for LV to get to LOS and see formatin to call TO). So San Diego coach's story does not really line up at face value.I read an analysis of the game this morning on ESPN. how did you know we are chasing our tails if you cant see our words?.....when multiple people are working furiously (chasing their tails) to try and agitate you but you have them all on ignore and haven’t seen a single word they’ve said......
Yep, and it's amazing to see Bucs fans on this board. Most Kentucky fans are either Bengals fans, or bandwagon jumpers. Go Bengals!LOL at the bandwagon Steeler fans.

Granted, Morgownsky calculates his self worth based on how his teams are doing, so he picks whoever is winning to soothe his ego. I’m supporting a garbage Steeler team just like I supported them when Mark Malone or Slash Stewart was breaking my heart.
lifelong steelers fans since 2000!
LOL
