Probably many of you have heard me complain about the limited formatting we can do in posts and how it made formatting on the game contest results less professional. You also probably heard me complain about not being able to find out when someone has deleted a post which made me change some of my rules for the SUP contest.
Now I'd like to give it some positive feedback. I really like that it tracks where I've read a thread. I like being able to follow a thread and get notifications on it. I like the increased number of threads maintained in the header (which allowed me to go back and find a thread recently to check someone's pick in one of the games). I like how it has a place at the bottom of each thread to make a post to the thread without replying to someone even if you aren't on the last grouping of a thread. The little read flag is convenient. I like the "likes". I like the multiple options it allows for replying. I haven't used but have seen what looks like a "highlight and hover" quoting feature. As far as interactions between participants in the threads, it is much improved. It is a big enough improvement in how CatsIllustrated forums operate to justify the change by a long way.
