In case you were wondering (and the only part of this story I found interesting)... yes he is Rick Nuclear Minter's son.

Vanderbilt defensive coordinator Jesse Minter is leaving the Commodores to become the defensive coordinator at Michigan, according to ESPN.

Before joining Vanderbilt, Minter spent four years as an assistant coach with the Baltimore Ravens, who are coached by John Harbaugh, the brother of Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh. Michigan's defensive coordinator, Mike Macdonald, was hired as defensive coordinator of the Ravens.

Vanderbilt's defense struggled at times in Minter's first year as the Commodores' coordinator. The Commodores ranked 106th in SP+ defense, 118th in total defense and 120th in defensive yards per play. The unit did tie for 33rd in the nation with 13 interceptions.

Vanderbilt has already lost two defensive assistants this offseason. Defensive line coach Inoke Breckterfield left for the same position at Washington and cornerbacks coach LaMar Morgan was named defensive coordinator at Louisiana-Lafayette.

According to ESPN, new defensive backs coach Nick Howell, hired in December, could be a candidate for the defensive coordinator job.

Howell was previously a defensive coordinator at Virginia.

Be lots of new coaches in the East in 22, UGA lost Dan Lanning, Co DC and OLB coach, Jahmile Addae the CB coach, and Cortez Hankton WR coach. Replaced Lanning with a coach from TCU, you guy, Childera Uzo-DIribe, Bryan McClendon who is an elite recruiter, lead recruiter for Gurley, Chubb, Michel and Marshall when he was in Athens before. No idea where the DB coach will come from.

A weird ass dynamic between the Harbaugh brothers. They played volleyball with McDonald who was Jim's DC for one year in 2021, then went back to the Ravens from where he came from to re-join Jim's brother John.

Now Minter formerly coached with John in Baltimore and now landing with Jim in Michigan.

I guess at minimum you can say these brothers really trust one another regarding personnel.
