Cal is a genuinely good man. What a great ambassador for our state and University.
@USSLair i really appreciate this post. But it seems a lot of posters want to talk about bull shit. Cal is the best
Was on his way to the phone ahead of Cal even thinking about it. But tweaked his back and fell to the ground.
Once life alert responded, it was too late, swaggy Cal beat him to the punch.
A strange and frightful day at the baseball field for sure. 5 people shot. Family members and kids hiding in dugouts and under vehicles, I bet they could have never dreamed of that scenario,
Salute to the officers! Some talk of taking a bullet, some do it without talking about it.

He did not get shot, it's being reported, but got a minor injury during the event. He and the lady cop ( who was shot in the leg) are true heroes. They ran toward danger to save lives. Takes a special person. God bless them both. This could have have ended much worse.
Hospitals phone numbers are listed. Imagine the conversation with the hospital operator when he said: This is John Calipari.
