OT: Kid sells Mac Jones card for $100K

I got excited when I sold a anthony edwards for 200 out of a pack I paid $15 for. I may have a heart attack if I ever hit something that crazy

How does this card even approach that number? Who had ever even heard of the card before it was sold? Lots and lots of financial Bubbles in all collectibles markets right now. My area of specialty is KISS. After 40 years of collecting, I am now a seller because of what I feel are out of touch valuations.

I wish baseball cards were popular again, I wouldn't mind getting into that again. I did for a while as a kid, but grew out of it when I discovered women. Lol. Big mistake.

They are popular...thing that sucks about baseball is the value is in guys whove never played in MLB and people are gambling they pan out.

My son was a designer for Panini in Dallas. He created many of the designs which had pieces of game worn jerseys and shoe soles as part of the card. I wanted a couple UK players rookie cards, but he wasn't allowed to have them. I had to buy them from ebay!
