OT: Fmr. Perry Co. Central guard Braxton Beverly to NCSU

Sounds like another Patrick Sparks. Did this kid warrant a look from Cal? I know, i know, he doesn't have all the accolades from AAU/all star games, but a Kid from Hazard who is a proven winner (84-4) at a National Prep School. Wouldn't mind him...anyone seen this kid ball?

Watched him all through high school.. Cam Justice was 10* the high school player he was.. Going to prep school kicked another gear in for him.. He had around 70 pts in one of his first few games at the prep school..

Yep, leaving to find better competition really seemed to help his development. Similar to what happened with D'angelo Russell.

Unfortunately, appears sometimes the best thing an aspiring in-state prospect can do is get the hell out of the state.

No, not at all. I just wondered if he ever was interested in playing at UK....not everyone is, you know.
