We haven’t had a good season, but people with open water in west Ky have really been getting ducks the last week with one more week left.
Surprisingly, head waters stayed open enough during the zero temps for guys with good equipment and time off to keep waters open around their blinds. Thus, ducks that generally head to states further south stayed in west Ky.
We have one generator-operated ice eater working, one broke down, and the big time clubs have electrical hookups and hire a guy(s) to handle repairs and keep ice eaters going 24-7. Money talks.
Just catching you hunters up on what’s happening.
