OT: Boogie Cousins interview with KG …

Good part is where he talks about Calipari's conversation with him, at around the 19:00 mark. He said he was considering returning to Kentucky, and Cal told him, "If you want to take care of my family, you stay; but if you want to take care of your family, you better leave."

KG's response: "Man, that's gangster."

Here's how my story started...... walking down a hallway at school..... coach stops me and asks how tall are you.....im 6ft 5, 6ft 6........ coach says, what year are you sophomore/junior?...... Boogie says Im in the 7th... Boogie didn't even really want to play

That's crazy.

Loved me some Boogie. There hasn't been a one and done here so universally loved by the fans. Those street interviews he did before the game at MSG always brings a smile to my face. Or the one of him holding that baby and doing the baby talk. He endeared himself to the BBN for life in his short time here.

He's my favorite Cal player as well. Built a UK court at his home in Sac-Town. He said UK was the first place he felt real love and he could be himself for the first time as well. Said nobody judged him. He was a consensus 2nd team All American too I believe.
