Obviously we play a few of those teams one more time, but I really wish we could play all these teams again. We would for sure thump these fools if there was a do over.

Sadly we don't get any do overs for the actual losses. We should have 3 losses tops now.

Eh when you have 7 freshmen you lose some games you shouldn't . Only the UT and OSU games bother me . UT due to refs and OSU due to the fact Murray played so well and no one else would step up to the plate to help him. I promise you next year's team with 6 freshmen ( the 5 we have plus Bolden) will have a few bad losses before they get it , though not as much as this team. Whereas this team I see 7 or 8 losses in all that team is more of a 5-6 total loss team.

Don't care deeply about any of them except LSU and nothing would be more pleasurable than our winning the SEC the last game while knocking them out of the title (with a spankdown).

Those losses hurt because of seeding. Losing to Auburn and Tennessee were horrible teams to lose to. Losing to Kansas hurt because that would have been a huge resume win. Just win those 3 games and this team would be looking at a 2 seed possibly.

We lost those games and can't get them back. No big deal. We're 19-6 and are starting to hit our stride with the best guard combo in the country. March is gonna be fun!

If two of those were wins then we would be in even better shape. However UK just needs to keep playing well, pick up some more quality wins, and get to a three seed or two if we win out.

UCLA - Away game after a previous year humiliation, Tyler still hurt, played Skal too much, Willis not ready, Lee injured in first 4 minutes

OSU - Tyler still hurt, played Skal too much, Willis did not play

LSU - Lee played 5 minutes, he and Alex fouled out with lots of game left.

Auburn - Had 12 point lead

UT - Had 21 point lead

KU- Had 8 point lead, Alex, Derek, Skal, and Marcus all fouled out

All away games.

I don't care for excuses no more than the next guy however...

NCAA games are not at someone else's place.

If we are healthy we will be tough.

We hopefully learned how to keep a lead... the last few games seem to say as much.

I doubt we have every big foul out in a single NCAA game.

And our new secret weapon...

We get down, Cal will just get tossed and we will destroy the opposition!

The Auburn and Tennessee games are the bad ones. We were still finding out about our team and trying to get the pieces into place. There's just no excuse blowing leads to two bad team like AU and UT. Although we got screwed at Kansas, that one didn't hurt us.

After 7 years here at UK we should know that when we start the season we are starting 3 or 4 players that are Freshman and are one of the youngest teams in NCAA Basketball. Coach Cal usually has his teams by mid SEC Season playing alot better and they continue getting better before March Madness. This year our 1st loss was our 8th game out west vs. UCLA. We had an injured Tyler Ulis that could barely shoot the ball because of his shoulder. Then Lee was injured after 2 minutes in the game and Poythress played his worst game of the season and fouled out with 4 points and fouled out with only 17 minutes played. Humphries had to play 28 minutes so that tells you we were short on big men that day. It was a terrible game. Then OSU came in being the worst shooting team we faced all season and they shot 10/20 from 3 and was hitting everything they threw up that day. Then we have 12 point lead on Auburn and 21 point lead on UT and we fell apart in both on the road that should have been 2 road wins for UK. The Kansas game I felt was about fouls and we lost most of our big men in another game and still played right with Kansas in AFH and lost in OT. Kansas went to the line 47 times to UK's 22 times and Kansas made 30FT's and we made 13FT's for a +17 for Kansas at FT Line. We were tied and had the ball for last shot and how Ulis & Murray has been playing together in last 3-4 games we would have Won that game if it was today. Kentucky could easily be 24-1 or 23-2 and 11-1 in the SEC if we were playing like we have been playing in our last 8 games.
